Yesterday (March 30) morning, 830 hotspots were found nationwide: 512 in protected forests, 525 in national reserved forests, and 66 outside forest areas. The top five protected forest areas were: Salween National Park in Mae Hong Son Province with 48 hotspots; Salween Wildlife Sanctuary in Mae Hong Son Province with 30 hotspots; Mae Puem National Park in Chiang Rai Province with 23 hotspots; Chae Son National Park in Lampang Province with 21 hotspots; and Mae Surin National Park in Mae Hong Son Province with 20 hotspots.
